The BIG Island

My Hubby and I just spent a FANTASTIC week in Hawaii on the BIG island! It was so beautiful. I just wanted to push the replay button at the end of the week. If I didn't miss my cute kiddos so much I just might have extended! Thanks Babe for more wonderful memories!

Back in session

School started about a month ago and I am finally starting to get into the swing of things. I have heard it said that most mom's can't wait for their kids to go back to school. I must be a crazy mom because I hate when school starts back up again. We love being together as a family and taking trips and veggin, summer nights and just having our own schedule! I know, kids need a good routine, some homework and some time to be social with friends in stead of just with mom, and dad  ;)  

 We spent a week at Lake Powell this summer. My kids had a blast. I think for a week they sprouted fins. Love my cute, wonderful, amazing Barton Bunch!

My Best Friend

When my best friend comes into town with her whole family she is always due for an updated family photo. Lucky for me I get a visit and get to take her cute familys pictures! I think she needs another updated family photo this summer! ;)

New York at christmas is just a blast! My wonderful hubby took just us on a trip there last December and I LOVED IT(did I mention the weather was exceptional).  New York is busy and exciting in my book! In fact, when he asked me if I thought NY would be a fun place to go for a visit I felt like a little girl just being told she was going to Disneyland! I couldn't sleep that night. We went the week that the Rockefeller Tree was going to be lit! The crowds were in sane! My Hubby, not a fan of crowds :) So, since I knew I was T-voing it at home we decided to go ice skating in Central Park instead (way more fun and romantic) + hot cocoa! So not crowded there ;) I probably would recommend not going the week of the lighting, because they don't even let you near the tree any day after and the crowds right at Rockafeller Center would not be so big. We squeezed our way in anywho, got our picture and scrammed. We saw shows took tours found the waffle cart... YUM! Ate yummy food and treats!  NY is anything but relaxing! I think I lost 10 lbs just from all the walking we did! The subway is crazy, we only got on the wrong sub 3x. In my book when you are there for a week and riding it many times a day that great. LOL. Totally going again sometime.

Yes, I admit it! I am a random poster.  Go with it ;)  Falling behind is one of my blogging weaknesses. As you can see I am posting Christmas in march. Keeping it real here on shade tree. I love this photo and had to share now that I am getting around to it!

We had a great Christmas too by the way. Just simple and fun. The way it should be, right? Love our baby boy!

My Little Lady Turned 8

What a proud and lucky Mama to be able to take pictures of this beautiful girl (whenever I want!). Especially this day in her white dress. She was so excited to get baptized. We are so proud of her!
